Seaworthy. Theodor Kober & 100 years of seaplane flight on Lake Constance
closed (25.5.2012–9.9.2012)
Temporary exhibition
Formerly an engineer on Count Zeppelin's first airship project, Kober built up a company with the Count's support that was one of the largest German aircraft factories in 1918 with 3.000 employees. It was the main supplier of "North Sea-capable" floatplanes for the navy. In summer 2012, the Zeppelin Museum is therefore going in search of traces of the talented aircraft builder and enterprising industrialist from Lake Constance.
