OPEN HOUSE! Acting algorithms: How autonomous systems organize themselves and us
Roman Beck's (IT University of Copenhagen and head of the European Blockchain Center) presentation will look at autonomous systems that are changing the way people organize and what they understand as organization. Here, machine-to-machine interaction comes to the fore: machines become acting agents, while humans, as decisionmaking agents, set the rules on the one hand and have to follow them on the other. For most users, this will be a reversal, away from a socio-technical paradigm and towards a techno-social one.
