The Zeppelin Museum is located on the banks of Lake Constance. With its tower on the side of the Lake and large glass facade towards the city, the impressive white building of the former harbour railway station immediately catches the eye.
Thanks to its position at the junction of the city’s public transport systems (railway/harbour station; buses and coaches (central coach station) and ferry (Friedrichshafen jetty), the museum is easily accessible.
The vehicular access route is signposted. Parking is possible in the surrounding multi-storey car parks (Parkhaus Altstadt = inner-city multi-storey car park) and in the ‘Hinterer Hafen’ car park.
Google-Maps include a street map of Friedrichshafen marked with the museum’s exact location.
If you use a satnav, please note that there are no parking spaces directly at the museum. You have to go to the ‘Parkplatz Hinterer Hafen’ (parking fee currently €2.00 per day), or to the ‘Parkhaus Altstadt’. The walk from both parking facilities to the museum takes 2 minutes.
